Seeking a Housekeeping Specialist

Fremantle & Surrounds

Part-time | School-hours friendly | 20–28 hours/week
Meaningful work supporting families in their homes

$32.33+/hr casual + super + allowances

About Us

This isn't a wipe-and-go service. What we do is detailed, skilled, and genuinely meaningful — and the people who do it best tend to be the ones who already run their own homes to a high standard and understand, from lived experience, what a family actually needs.

You'll work independently in private family homes across Fremantle and the southern suburbs, delivering:

  • High-standard general housekeeping (bathrooms, kitchens, floors, surfaces — properly done)

  • Laundry, folding, and linen care

  • Light organisation (pantries, wardrobes, toy rooms, cupboards)

  • Home resets that leave families walking into calm

  • Consistent, respectful communication with clients who trust you in their space

You'll be matched with a regular weekly client base — structured, predictable, and entirely local. All shifts are school-hours friendly at 20–28 hours per week (with more available if you'd like).

Who We're Looking For

You don't need a formal housekeeping background, though if you have one, wonderful. What matters more is who you are.

You might be a former nurse, teacher, office manager, or team leader who stepped back when your children arrived and have been running your household with quiet, competent efficiency ever since. You iron things properly. You notice what needs doing before anyone asks. You've probably been in some version of the place our clients are in — and you know exactly what it means to have someone capable just come and handle it.

We’re looking for someone who…

  • Has strong domestic skills — professional or lived — and knows how to detail-clean

  • Is calm, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently in someone's home

  • Has a warm, grounded presence and excellent interpersonal instincts

  • Wants consistent part-time hours that work around school pick-up

  • Is looking to be part of something purposeful, not just fill a shift

  • Can commit to at least 6–12 months with us

Room to Grow

We're building something, and we want people who want to grow with us. For the right person, there is a clear pathway toward a senior or supervisor role as Another Mother expands across Perth. If you naturally lead, organise, and bring others along with you, we'd love to hear about that too.

What We Offer

  • 20–28 hours per week, casual, school-hours scheduling (more available if you'd like)

  • $32.33–$35/hr + super + allowances, rising with experience

  • You choose your travel radius — no long commutes

  • Paid, structured onboarding and training program

  • All equipment and eco-friendly products provided

  • A team that communicates clearly, respects your time, and values your work

  • Clear systems, checklists, and expectations — no guessing

  • Work that makes a real difference to families in your own community

We are not the right fit if you are…

  • Looking for very casual, short-term, or cash-in-hand work

  • Unable to commit to consistent weekly hours

  • Uncomfortable working independently in someone's home

  • Navigating personal circumstances that make reliability difficult right no

  • Reliant on a vehicle that isn't roadworthy or consistently available

This role requires reliability, consistency, and emotional steadiness. We hold ourselves and each other to that standard — and it's how we've built the trust our clients place in us.

Essential Requirements

  • Permanent Resident, Citizen, or valid permanent work visa (no temporary visas)

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in cleaning, domestic work, hospitality, support work, or similar lived experience

  • Current driver’s licence and a reliable, well-maintained car

  • Ability to commit to 20–28 hours per week of regular work

  • National Police Clearance and WWCC (or willingness to obtain)

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Physical capacity to perform housekeeping tasks to a high standard

  • Professional presentation suitable for high-end homes
